A premiação Golden Globes 2023 – Globo de Ouro – teve seus indicados anunciados hoje com algumas surpresas. The Banshees of Inisherin lidera a lista de indicações com oito indicações. O filme do diretor Martin McDonagh é uma comédia dramática com Colin Farrel e Brendan Gleeson.
Seguindo a lista, Everything Everywhere All at Once teve seis indicações, seguidos de Babylon e The Fabelmans. Na TV, Abbott Elementary lidera com cinco indicações, incluindo melhor série de tv.
O evento que irá ocorrer em janeiro de 2023, em um retorno, já que neste ano após um boicote da indústria hollywoodiana culminou na não transmissão do evento. Um dos motivos pelo boicote foram as ausências de pessoas negras na associação “The Hollywood Foreign Press“, que é quem organiza e julga os resultados. Partindo desse ponto, a HFPA anunciou várias mudanças no corpo de pessoas, além de proibir os membros de receber benefícios em forma de presente. Além disso, uma reforma igualitária entre homens e mulheres foi apresentada, com uma diversidade racial e étnica maior.
